You never know where a simple “yes” to God will take you.
Nearly 25 years ago, while praying, I heard a gentle whisper in my spirit. The Lord asked me to invite Christian women authors I knew to join an online community.
“Is that really You, Lord?” I asked.
In response, He gave me a sign. When that sign came, I knew it was time to act. On the appointed day, I emailed 50 women authors, inviting them to join a Yahoo loop.
To my amazement, all 50 said yes!
What started as a small step of obedience quickly grew into something only God could orchestrate. Today, that little group of 50 has blossomed into the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA), a thriving network of more than 1,000 Christian women under the banner of Right to the Heart Ministries. Together, we are so much more than a community—we are a family.
AWSA provides prayer support, mentorship, and training, as well as events like the Golden Scroll Awards, Christian Market Book Awards, and our annual conference.
We also showcase our talents and ministries at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention and the Christian Product Expo. And through our award-winning Leading Hearts magazine, we share inspiration with countless others.
