Leading Hearts AI & Author Integrity Policy
At Leading Hearts, we want your heart, your story, your thinking, and your voice. AI can help you with your work, but it should not become the author of your work.
We recognize that AI tools are increasingly part of the modern writing and editing process. Writers may use AI for brainstorming, proofreading, grammar and spelling assistance, editorial feedback, organization, research assistance, or help strengthening and polishing their own writing.
What matters to us is authentic authorship.
The writer should originate the message, experiences, insights, convictions, and substantive content of the article. AI should not be used to generate an article that is then lightly edited and submitted under the writer’s name.
Every writer is responsible for the truth, originality, accuracy, biblical integrity, and personal authenticity of everything submitted under her name. Writers should personally verify facts, quotations, Scripture references, sources, and other information rather than relying upon AI-generated information as authoritative.
Personal stories and testimonies must be genuine. AI must never be used to fabricate or embellish personal experiences, quotations, sources, facts, or spiritual experiences.
Especially important: Any statement presented as something God said, showed, revealed, or impressed upon the writer must come from the writer’s genuine experience—not from AI-generated material.
Our goal is not to make writers afraid of helpful technology or to police every tool used during the creative process. Our goal is to protect what has always mattered at Leading Hearts: authentic voices sharing authentic truth.
Simply put: AI may assist the writer. It should never replace the writer.
